Chindang Festival, Arunachal Pradesh

In 1959 His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama fled from Tibet to India through Khenzamana Pass near the village of Zemithang in Tawang region. We will be following the route taken by Him during His exile from Tibet including the visit to Tawang Monastery, the oldest and the second largest Monastery in Asia after Lhasa in Tibet, the birth place of the 06th Dalai Lama near Tawang and the colorful festival of the Miji tribe in Nafra called the Chindang festival.  The undisturbed villages, intact culture and traditions of the Monpa people and the natural scenery will make it the best circuit in Arunachal Pradesh.
