The Dree festival of ther Apatani tribe is celeberated in Ziro after completion of plantation of paddy. It is observed to propitiate spirits and deities seeking for bumper cropping and all round prosperity of the people and the animals with the help of priest. Song and dances are performed extensively and food and drinks are lavishly served.
