PEMAKO TREK [RUITALA with DHANA KOSA TREK]

Dhana Kosa in Pemako is said to be the holy abode of Guru Rinpoche. The Tibetian mountain views are clearly visible while on trek including the famous Namche Barwa ranges.

The lake itself is one of thr most spectacular sight to behold. Blessed with abundant alpine flowers and Rhododendron, the region is a trekkers delight for discovery.

Riu Tala is the paradise of Avalokiteshvara for the Bhuddists and from here too you can you have a great view of the Namche Barwa Range on a clear day.

According to the tribal Adis, Eko Dumbing is the highest peak and all the hills are its descendents. They believe it is the sacred domain of the Snow God Jimu Tayeng. The Adi community comes to this sacred mountain to collect Emo (econite) in an elaborated ritualistic expedition called Disang. Many wildlife, flora and rare species of birds can be seen here.
